SDV 100: STUDENT DEVELOPMENT (NURSING [DEGREE] ASSOCIATE OF APPLIED SCIENCE PROGRAM ONLY)

This course introduces students to the skills which are necessary to achieve their academic goals.

Strategies are explored to assist students with improving their study skills, test taking, learning techniques, and time management and those topical areas which are applicable to their particular discipline.

In addition, the principles and practical application of effective communication are studied. This discipline of Health Informatics is introduced and the concepts relevant in today’s health care delivery are explored.
