MEDICAL ASSISTANT PROGRAM
The program prepares its graduates for entry-level positions in various medical facilities and private practices to equip the student with the administrative and clinical skills and the procedures that prepare them for an extraordinary role as Medical Assistants.
Candidates will learn essential tasks such as:
- Measuring vital signs
- Keeping medical charts updated
- Working proficiently with electronic health records (EHR) software
- Assisting in diagnostic procedures
- Phlebotomy techniques and procedures
- Electrocardiogram techniques and procedures
- Performing front office duties and responsibilities
- Working closely with patients, physicians, and other medical staff and faculty.
