Phlebotomy Technician

The Phlebotomy Technician program provides the practical knowledge and the specialized skill needed to draw blood from patients as an entry-level Phlebotomist. In addition, this program is designed to give the student a competency-based approach, skilled in venipuncture, micro-collection of blood, collection and transportation of clinical laboratory specimens, and public relations.

This course's theoretical and hands-on experience ensures students acquire the skills necessary to meet and exceed employer expectations, preparing them student for the role of a Phlebotomist in various healthcare settings. Health, fire, and safety are emphasized in each course.
