The Wax Technician program is for students who wish to pursue a rewarding career in the waxing industry. A student of the program will become familiar with skin and hair and learn the basics of waxing and application techniques. Types of wax, proper technique, and instruction in waxing different body areas will give students the confidence and skills to excel in this core field of esthetics.
Program students perform their hands-on training in the Student Clinic at EVCC.

Graduates of the Wax Technician program will be prepared to sit for the state board examination for their Wax Technician licensure by the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR).
