This Practical Nurse Education professional training program provides quality nurses to meet the needs of the region's health care providers. It is 45 weeks in length. The high quality of theoretical and clinical education ensures the Practical Nurse Education students opportunities to develop as a nurse and individual while practicing in various settings. As a result, the student can meet and exceed employer expectations in the job market.
Uniforms, immunizations, a watch with a second hand, and other additional supplies are the student's responsibility. The National Certification testing fee is not included in the cost of tuition. The Criminal Background Check fee must be paid with the application fee.
See Practical Nurse Education and other course descriptions in the complete EVCC Student Catalog.
Our Nursing and OTA students often collaborate on training so each may learn from the other’s methodology.
