EVCC in the Community

For more than two decades, Eastern Virginia Career College (EVCC) has been a leading provider of adult education services in the Greater Fredericksburg Region. Our students come from all walks of life, from recent high school graduates to adults seeking a career change. They are drawn to EVCC for its reputation of producing job-ready employees for the healthcare and wellness industries, and often due to our fast-track program schedules which allow students to complete their associate degree training in under a year, or get their diplomas or certificates for their trade many months ahead of the next closest education option. We are different because we are faster; and we are better because we are different!

EVCC enjoys being an entrepreneurial leader in the community that takes initiative in its outreach and recruiting efforts. Our staff enjoys meeting prospective students in as many ways as we can. We sponsor and/or participate in events throughout the year and across the region including middle and high school career fairs, job fairs, health fairs, parent-teacher nights, chamber of commerce initiatives, career day booths, teacher training events; and public events such as health and wellness competitions, career fairs, open houses, women's shows, back-to-school events, college nights, public safety events, and more!
