Through a lens of cultural identities and diversity, students will continue to explore the modes of discourse by reading and analyzing contemporary critical discourse and relevant culturally-themed fiction.
English 112 will focus on the rhetorical styles of exposition and argumentation and further develop students' invention, research, writing, documentation, and revision methods.
Students completing this course should compose persuasively researched and documented essays (of at least 1,500 words), demonstrating standard written English conventions and manuscript presentation.
