EVCC students help keep drivers safe

Driver participants learned the 12 key areas of making their car "fit" them, such as allowing adequate space from the body to the steering wheel, proper seat belt use, proper positioning of rear-view and side mirrors to prevent blind spots, and proper use of head restraints to prevent whiplash. CarFit is an educational program developed by AAA, AARP and the American Occupational Therapy Association.
