What You’ll Learn

Revisiting Core Skills – Full Foundational Esthetic Training

Before moving into advanced procedures, students spend time sharpening the fundamentals. It’s a step that often ends up being more valuable than expected. This includes:

  • Skin analysis
  • Facials
  • Waxing and hair removal techniques
  • Lash and brow services like tinting and lamination
  • Makeup basics
  • State licensing requirements and state regulations
  • Business practices

Taking this time helps everything feel more natural later on—especially when services become more advanced.

Medical Aesthetics Training (Additional 25 Hours)

As part of the program, students receive additional advanced Medical Aesthetics training beyond the standard DPOR requirements, helping bridge the gap between traditional esthetics and clinical practice.

Complimentary for Master Esthetics students upon completing required 600 hours Training delivered by an in-house certified trainer / Medical Director Designed to introduce students to real clinical procedures and protocols

This advanced training includes:

  • Laser hair removal
  • Microneedling
  • Advanced chemical peels
  • Juvasonic treatments
  • Procell (microchanneling)

This additional training helps students gain deeper exposure to services commonly performed in medical spas and advanced clinical environments.

Working with Advanced Devices

Technology is a big part of where esthetics is heading, so students are introduced to devices they may use in modern practices.

  • Juvasonic: Early exposure to emerging technology; EVCC is among the first schools to train students on this device
  • Aerolase: Exclusive training through an in-house certified instructor; suitable for all Fitzpatrick skin types (1–6)
  • Procell: Certification-focused training with hands-on practice to build technical and practical skills

Real-World Practice

A detail that often stands out to students is the opportunity to work in a functioning MedSpa environment. Instead of only practicing on mannequins or classmates, students interact with real clients under supervision.

It can feel a little intimidating at first—but that’s usually where the most growth happens. By the time students finish the program, they’re not just familiar with treatments—they’re more comfortable performing them in a real setting.

What Makes the Program Stand Out

  • Preparation for both licensing and advanced roles
  • A balance between foundational skills and clinical training
  • Hands-on experience with modern treatments and tools
  • Exposure to industry-recognized skincare brands
  • Instructors with long-term, real-world experience
  • Practice in both spa and clinical-style environments

Ongoing Support

Support doesn’t just end when the course does.

Students can take mock practical exams as part of their preparation. If a student is unable to clear the practical test after graduation, they can come back and request another mock session.

It’s a simple option, but it makes a difference. Not everyone learns at the same pace, and having that flexibility helps reduce a lot of pressure around testing.

Why This Program

For many students, this program ends up being less about “just finishing a course” and more about feeling ready for what comes next.

It’s structured, but not rigid. Supportive, without being overwhelming. And it gives students the space to build confidence at their own pace while still moving forward.

If the goal is to grow in esthetics—whether that means starting fresh in advanced training or expanding existing skills—this program is designed to help make that transition feel a lot more natural.
